Pokéthrones - Part 4!

Members of the Night's Watch don't usually have travelling companions, but Ash is nothing if not unusual, and after an accident with a wagon, he picks up a comrade in the form of the fiery-tempered Misty of House Waterflower. The Waterflower clan have long ruled as lords paramount of the Cerulean district, but for reasons known best to herself, Misty has been exiled from her home. She has wandered the kingdom of Kanto since her banishment, hunting and fishing to sustain herself and honing her skills as a Pokemon trainer. In place of the cerulean-colored banner sporting the Cascade badge and white trim flown by the "recognized" Waterflowers, Misty flies a personalized banner, with the badge of her House set inside the white silhouette of a Togepi on a field of dark blue with red trim. The words are her own.

An expert with all sorts of Water-type Pokemon, Misty for some reason makes the most use of her Psyduck, a dim-witted thing that's more of a liability than a help...until it gets angry.

(In the crossover drawing that set this all off, Misty was cast as Ygritte. In seiji's feudal Japanese take on GoT, Ygritte and the other wildlings were portrayed as Ainu. The whole "gym leaders=lords" conceit wouldn't allow for the Waterflowers to be any sort of wildling equivalent, but I decided to keep Misty in Ainu-inspired clothing. Think of it as a way for her to stand apart from her House, the way the real Misty was a tomboy as opposed to her siblings. Her words come from her general personality.)
