The way I do cartoons, I usually get a real person to use as a reference. In Vlad's case, I used Liam Neeson.
I must confess that I'm not entirely happy with this one, as I think it looks too "anime." Nothing against anime, of course. There's a few animes that I really love (*coughdbzcough*), but as far as the actual drawings go, that's not a form that I'm really drawn to.

I like your style! The eyes are maybe the only "anime" thing besides the mouth, but you draw your dragon eyes like that...I suppose it's just part of your style ^_^ I'd know that face anywhere! Nice job! I especially like the nose and cheekbone
